Macy's Herald Square

This iconic NYC landmark is a favorite shopping destination for generations of young New Yorkers. Macy's Herald Square is also home to the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Parade, which is held on Thanksgiving Day each year, ends at Macy's Herald Square.

Macy's Herald Square is also the site of a fireworks display each year. The Macy's Herald Square Flower Show features flowering cherry trees and flamingo topiary centerpiece.

Saks Fifth Avenue

The Saks Fifth Avenue holiday window installation includes 700,000 LED lights. It was a major undertaking to complete and it takes about ten thousand hours to complete. The window display features a three-dimensional light show, kaleidoscopic images of snowflakes, and a speech by the Saks Fifth Avenue CEO.

The Saks Fifth Avenue holiday windows also featured a live performance by Sir Elton John. The lights show was one of the most awe-inspiring and impressive displays in the city. The windows were crafted with the assistance of 250 artists and engineers.

Wollman Rink in Central Park

During the winter season, Central Park in New York is a popular place to enjoy ice skating. There are several ice rinks in Central Park, one of which is Wollman Rink. It is located in the southern part of Central Park, near the Sixth Avenue and 59th Street entrance. The rink will be open from late October to early April.

Located in New York City's Bryant Park, the Winter Village at Bryant Park is one of the most festive Christmas markets in the city. Bryant Park's Winter Village is the first of the holiday markets in New York to open. This market features more than 100 boutique shops, along with artisans from all over the world. You can shop from 10am to 10pm on weekends, and from 10am to 11pm on weekdays.

The market is open from October 30, 2020 to March 7, 2021. The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park feature unique home decor, all-natural beauty products, bespoke treasures from NYC, and children's toys. They also serve an endless supply of festive beverages.

Holiday Train Show

Taking place at New York Botanical Garden, the Holiday Train Show is a miniature version of some of the city's most famous landmarks. The show features 25 G-scale model trains that zip around a track featuring 190 mini NYC landmarks.

During the 27th annual exhibition, the new replica of the Woolworth Building will be on display. There will also be a replica of the One World Trade Center making its debut.

The Holiday Train Show is a fun and informative show that will be sure to delight guests of all ages. It features a 34-foot model train layout that is displayed against a backdrop designed by artist Ebony Bolt.

The Holiday Train Show also features a replica of the Old Bandstand and the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater. This is one of the best parts about the show, which is hosted by the New York Botanical Garden.
